EAST LANSING, Mich., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Drew Neitzel scored 11 of his 28 points in the final minutes Tuesday as the Michigan State Spartans upset the 2nd-ranked Wisconsin Badgers, 64-55.
Neitzel, who hit 10-of-17 shots from the floor, including 6-of-11 from three-point range, hit three three-pointers during a 17-2 burst that turned around a 49-45 deficit.
Travis Walton added 13 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for Michigan State (20-8, 7-6 Big Ten), which has won three straight. Raymer Morgan had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Spartans.
Marcus Landry had 18 points for Wisconsin (26-3, 12-2), which had a five-game win streak halted. Alando Tucker scored 16 points for the Badgers, who were held to just two field goals over the final seven minutes.
