
TEMPE, Ariz., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Josh Pendergraph and Derek Glasser scored 14 points apiece Sunday night as Arizona State upset No. 23 Southern California, 68-58.
ASU pulled off the victory by overcoming a 26-21 halftime deficit, out-scoring USC, 47-32, in the second half.
Glasser's three-point jumper put Arizona State in front, 33-32, with 13:19 remaining, and the lead grew steadily from there.
Jarren Shipp had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists; and Pendergraph added 13 rebounds for the Sun Devils (7-19, 1-14 Pac-10), who broke a school-record 15-game losing streak.
Gabriel Pruitt led USC with 22 points and seven rebounds, and Lodrick Stewart had 18 points and six rebounds. Nick Young had 11 points, four rebounds and two assists for the Trojans (19-8, 9-5), who have dropped two of three.
