NBA: Seattle 114, Phoenix 90

SEATTLE, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Ray Allen had 31 points and six rebounds Wednesday night as Seattle trounced the ailing Phoenix Suns, 114-90.

Seattle had a 30-21 lead after one quarter and a 65-52 advantage at the half.

After Phoenix came within 70-64 late in the third quarter, Seattle spurted to a 92-77 lead entering the final quarter.

Nick Collison had 22 points and 15 rebounds; Rashard Lewis had 20 points, three rebounds, and two steals; and Earl Watson had 12 points and seven assists for the Sonics, who enter the break with three wins in their last four games.

Marcus Banks led Denver with 21 points and three assists.

Amare Stoudemire had 18 points and 13 rebounds; and Leandro Barbosa had 16 points and five assists but six turnovers for the Suns, who again played without guard Steve Nash (shoulder), and suffered their third straight loss.
