
OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Desmond Mason had 18 points, five rebounds and three assists Wednesday night as the New Orleans Hornets beat the Sacramento Kings, 110-93.
David West had 16 points and nine rebounds, as New Orleans placed six players in double figures. Devin Brown had 15 points, three rebounds and two blocked shots.
Reserve Bobby Jackson had 14 points and two assists, and Linton Johnson had 12 points and four rebounds. Tyson Chandler added 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Hornets, who have won four of their last five games.
Ron Artest led Sacramento with 18 points and five rebounds. Corliss Williamson had 16 points, two rebounds and two steals.
Kevin Martin scored 15 points, and Francisco Garcia had 12 points and five rebounds for the Kings, who have a three-game losing streak.
New Orleans closed the first half with a 9-0 burst for a 57-47 halftime edge, and then extended the run to 18-0 with a nine-point outburst to open the second half.
