TULSA, Okla., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Chris Roberts-Douglas had 20 points and three rebounds Wednesday night as ninth-ranked Memphis trounced Tulsa, 69-52.
Memphis started slowly, but expanded a 16-14 lead with 8:46 left in the first half to a 34-24 advantage at the break.
The lead was never less than nine points the rest of the contest.
A 13-2 run made the score 58-38 with 6:40 left to play.
Antonio Anderson had 15 points and seven rebounds; Jeremy Hunt had eight points and two assists; and Robert Dozier had seven points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (22-3, 12-0 C- USA), who have won 14 games in a row.
Jamel McLean led Tulsa with a career-high 16 points and eight rebounds.
Ben Uzoh added nine points and six rebounds for the Hurricane (15-9, 5-6), who have lost two straight and six of nine.
The victory likely earned Memphis a bye in the conference tournament.
