GAINESVILLE, Fla., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Taurean Green scored 20 points Wednesday night as top-ranked Florida rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to beat Alabama, 76-67.
The Gators were down, 42-31, when the first half ended, but out-scored Alabama, 45-25, in the second half.
Corey Brewer had 16 points, four assists and three steals. Al Horford had 12 points and six rebounds, while Joakim Noah added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Gators (24-2, 11-0 SEC), who extended their winning streak to 17 games.
Richard Hendrix led Alabama with 16 points and eight rebounds, and Alonzo Gee had 15 points and six rebounds, but six turnovers. Jermareo Davidson had 13 points and four rebounds, while Mykal Riley scored 10 points for the Crimson Tide (18-7, 5-6), who have split their last four games.
