NBA: Sacramento 114, Seattle 93

SEATTLE, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Kevin Martin had 26 points, three rebounds and four assists Saturday night as the Sacramento Kings thumped the Seattle SuperSonics, 114-93.

The contest turned into a rout when Sacramento out-scored Seattle, 36-23, in the second quarter to build a 63-46 halftime advantage.

Ron Artest had 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists; and Francisco Garcia had 17 points and five rebounds. Shareef Abdur-Rahim totaled 13 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Kings, who sank 10 three-pointers in their fifth straight victory.

Ray Allen led Seattle with 29 points, three rebounds and five assists. Rashard Lewis and Nick Collison scored 14 points apiece, Luke Ridnour scored 13 points, and Chris Wilcox had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Sonics, who have lost six of their last seven games.
