COL BKB: Texas 77, Iowa State 68

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- D.J. Augustin scored 31 points Saturday afternoon to lead the 25th-ranked Texas Longhorns to a 77-68 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones.

Augustin was 9-of-13 from the floor and 10-of-10 at the foul line, as Texas (17-7, 7-3 Big12) ended a two-game slide. Kevin Durant added 17 points and six boards and Damion James had 10 points for the Longhorns.

Mike Taylor had 25 points, six rebounds and five assists for Iowa State (12-12, 3-7). Jiri Hubalek added 18 points and eight rebounds, and Wesley Johnson had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Cyclones, who have lost seven of their last eight games.
