Quinney holds two-shot lead at FBR Open

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- PGA Tour rookie Jeff Quinney shot a 3-under 68 Saturday and holds a two-stroke lead over Aaron Baddeley after three rounds of the FBR Open in Arizona.

Quinney -- the 2000 U.S. Amateur champion and a former Arizona State player -- is at 16-under 197 for his first 54-hole lead on the PGA Tour.

Baddeley, an Australian, matched the low round of the day with a 7-under 64, trimming a six-shot deficit to just two despite hitting only five fairways Saturday. Baddeley, 14-under 199, missed the cut in three of his previous four starts here.

Brett Quigley (66) and Bart Bryant (68) share third place at 13-under 200. Vaughn Taylor (67), John Rollins (68) and Robert Garrigus (68) are one shot further back at 201.

The second round was completed Saturday morning after play was suspended due to darkness Friday.
