COL BKB: Georgia Tech 80, Clemson 62

ATLANTA, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Javaris Crittenton had 26 points and five rebounds Saturday afternoon to guide Georgia Tech to an 80-62 rout of No. 21 Clemson.

Tech used a 14-2 burst to build a 36-27 halftime lead, and led by as many as 15 points early in the second half.

Anthony Morrow had 11 points, two assists and six rebounds. Alade Aminu scored 10 points, and Jeremis Smith added nine points, 10 rebounds and five assists, as the Yellow Jackets (14-8, 3-6 ACC) broke a four-game losing streak.

James Mayes led the Tigers with 15 points and two rebounds. Cliff Hammonds had 13 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Vernon Hamilton had 11 points, three rebounds and three assists, but he also made six of the Tigers' 22 turnovers. Trevor Booker had 10 points and six rebounds for the reeling Tigers (18-5, 4-5), who have lost five of six since a 17-0 start.
