Sacramento coach suspended for two games

SACRAMENTO, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Sacramento will be without Coach Eric Musselman for its next two games after his suspension for driving under the influence.

He was pulled over by police Oct. 21 and arrested after reportedly cutting off another motorist in midtown Sacramento.

Also, authorities said he failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of .11, which is above the legal limit of .08 percent.

He pleaded no contest to the charge last week.

The first-year Kings coach, who has made no comment about his suspension, will miss games against Denver Saturday and Charlotte Monday.

Sacramento heads into the weekend with an 18-26 record, which is good for last place in the Pacific Division.

Assistant Scott Brooks will coach the team in his absence.
