SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Jeff Quinney is the leader by three shots after Friday's second round of the PGA's FBR Open golf tournament at Scottsdale, Ariz.

Quinney -- who turned pro in 2001 and has never won a PGA event -- shot 8-under 63 to move to 13-under 129 through 36 holes. The round was suspended due to darkness.

"Just got off to a good start and got comfortable a little early," said Quinney. "I was able to feel real good over the ball seeing the lines and the putts well. It was one of those days."

Billy Mayfair (66) is second. Bubba Watson (67), John Rollins (68), Robert Garrigus (67) and Bart Bryant (63) are tied for third at 9-under 133.

First round leader Dudley Hart (71) is tied for 11th at 7-under 135.

Among those who will miss the projected 1-under cut are Justin Leonard (142), Fred Couples (142), Jeff Sluman (146) and Brad Faxon (147).
