
ATLANTA, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson scored a game-high 33 points Wednesday night as the Atlanta Hawks dumped the Golden State Warriors, 115-94.
Josh Childress had 23 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Hawks, who completed their first winning month since April 2004.
Marvin Williams totaled 17 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Tyronn Lue had 13 points and three assists, while Zaza Pachulia added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks, who won for the fourth time in five games by bolting to a 70-56 halftime lead.
They out-scored Golden State, 40-27, in the second quarter.
Al Harrington had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead the Warriors. Baron Davis and Stephon Jackson both scored 17 points, while Mikael Pietrus added 16 points for Golden State, which suffered its sixth straight road loss and has split its last four games overall.
