NHL: Ottawa 3, Washington 2

OTTAWA, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza each had a goal and an assist Tuesday as the Ottawa Senators posted a 3-2 victory over the Washington Capitals.

Daniel Alfredsson scored Ottawa's other goal and Martin Gerber made 35 saves for the Senators, who have won three of their last four games.

Donald Brashear and Alexander Ovechkin each scored a goal and Olaf Kolzig made 35 saves for the Capitals, who have lost three of their last four games.
