COL BKB: Notre Dame 103, Syracuse 91

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Luke Harangody had 21 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday as 19th-ranked Notre Dame used three-point shooting to beat Syracuse, 103-91.

Notre Dame hit 10 of 17 three-point attempts in the first half en route to a 61-42 lead.

Tory Jackson added 19 points and Russell Carter had 18 points for the Fighting Irish (18-4, 6-3 Big East), who won for the first time on the road all season (1-3). Colin Falls had 16 points, and Zach Hillesland had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Demitris Nichols scored 29 points and Terrence Roberts added 20 for Syracuse (15-7, 4-4), which has lost three straight.
