NHL: Florida 4, New Jersey 2

SUNRISE, Fla., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Rostislav Olesz scored two goals Saturday night to help the Florida Panthers beat the New Jersey Devils, 4-2.

His second goal tied the game, 2-2, at 9:28 of the second period.

A goal by Joel Kwiatkowski gave Florida a 3-2 lead heading into the second intermission, and Jozef Stumpel capped the scoring with an empty-netter with about 20 seconds left.

Olesz also assisted on a goal, Chris Gratton had two assists, and Ed Belfour made 30 saves on 32 shots for the Panthers, who have won their last two games.

Brian Gionta and Johnny Oduya each scored once, while Martin Brodeur was beaten three times on 31 shots for the Devils, who had won five of their previous six contests.

On the power play, Florida converted its only chance, and New Jersey went 0-for-2.
