Three players tied at Qatar Masters

DOHA, Qatar, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Richard Green, two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen and Nick O'Hern are locked at the top after three rounds of the Qatar Masters Golf Tournament in Doha.

The three-way logjam was created when Green made a double bogey at the 18th and final hole.

Green, from Australia, and South Africa's Goosen -- who began the day as co-leaders -- shot 1-under 71 in Saturday's round. O'Hern, also from Australia, shot 3-under 69.

The three head into the final round at 12-under 204.

"I played pretty nicely from the word go," said an angry Green. "I gathered a nice bit of momentum and played pretty nicely, but it was just a bit of a shame about the last hole."

Defending champion Henrik Stenson (70) of Sweden is tied for fourth with Thailand's Edward Michaels (69) at 10-under 206.
