PITTSBURGH, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Aaron Gray had 13 points and 10 rebounds Saturday afternoon as the No. 9 Pittsburgh Panthers posted a runaway, 72-46, victory over the St. John's Red Storm.
Sam Young scored 11 points for Pitt (19-3, 7-1 Big East), which got its ninth win in its last 10 games.

Anthony Mason had 10 points and six rebounds for St. John's (12-9, 3-5), which upset 21st-ranked Notre Dame Tuesday.
St. John's shot 32 percent from the field and only made 4-of-24 from behind the three-point line.
Pitt led by 28 points, 59-31, with just under eight minutes left.
