COL BKB: Memphis 72, Tulsa 59

MEMPHIS, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Joey Dorsey had 13 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots Wednesday night as the 11th-ranked Memphis Tigers beat the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, 72-59.

Robert Dozier had 12 points and eight rebounds and Jeremy Hunt scored 11 for Memphis (16-3, 6-0 Conference USA), which won its eight straight game -- all of them by double figures.

Ray Reese scored 17 points for Tulsa (12-6, 2-3), which is 12-1 at home this season, but is winless in four road games. Ben Uzoh finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Golden Hurricane.

Jamel McLean brought Tulsa to within 10 with 2:34 left to play, but the Tigers answered with six straight points to put the game away.
