ATHENS, Ga., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Takais Brown had 20 points and seven rebounds Wednesday night as un-ranked Georgia knocked off No. 25 Kentucky in overtime, 78-69.
In the extra five minutes, Georgia out-scored Kentucky, 13-4.
Sundiata Gaines had 19 points, six rebounds and four assists; Terrance Woodbury had 16 points and seven rebounds; while Mike Mercer added seven points, seven rebounds, and five assists for the Bulldogs (12-6, 4-2 SEC), who have won four of their last five games.
Joe Crawford had 29 points, six rebounds, and four assists to lead the Wildcats (15-5, 4-2 SEC).
Randolph Morris scored 11 points; and Jodie Meeks had 10 points and four rebounds for Kentucky, which has lost its last two outings after blowing a 43-30 halftime advantage.
