COL BKB: Air Force 72, Texas Christian 39

COLORADO SPRINGS, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Dan Nwaelele's modest 13 points led No. 16 Air Force as the team dominated Texas Christian University 72-39 Tuesday night.

The Falcons defense played a major role in the Mountain West Conference tilt as TCU shot just 32.6 percent from the floor.

Matt McCraw and Tim Anderson each chipped in with 11 points for the Falcons (19-2) who have won 14 of their last 15 games and 27 consecutive home games.

Brent Hackett had nine points to lead TCU (10-8), while Kevin Langford and Alvardo Parker each had eight points.

Air Force shot 60 percent in the first half en route to a 33-15 lead at the break. The Falcons also out-rebounded the visitors 33-22.
