NBA: Memphis 118, Philadelphia 102

MEMPHIS, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Mike Miller scored 30 points and Rudy Gay added 23 Wednesday night in the Memphis Grizzlies' 118-102 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The battle of the teams with the worst records in the NBA found the Grizzlies (10-30) ending a three-game losing streak while Philadelphia (10-29) lost its third straight game.

First-half runs of 15-3, 7-0 and 11-0 allowed Memphis to build a 17-point lead midway through the second quarter. The Grizzlies led by as many as 25 points in the second quarter, and 70-49 at halftime.

Philadelphia scored the first 12 points of the fourth period to get within 97-86, but Memphis put the game away with a 9-0 run.

Kyle Korver led the 76ers with 30 points in 33 minutes coming off the bench.
