NEW YORK, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- The NBA has fined Washington Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan $15,000 for failing to leave the court after he was ejected from a game last week.

It was Jordan's first ejection of the season. It came Jan 13. after he disputed a non-call when he thought the Wizards' Gilbert Arenas had been fouled during a 93-80 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Jordan left the bench and went onto the court to argue with game officials. He didn't immediately leave when he was tossed from the game in the third quarter. The Spurs won 93-80.

"I lost my composure and probably shouldn't have but that's the way it is," Jordan told the Washington Post.
