COL BKB: Memphis 75, Sou. Miss. 62

HATTIESBURG, Miss., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 23 points and No. 19 Memphis dominated over the final four minutes Saturday night to dispose of Southern Mississippi, 75-62.

Memphis led by just five with four minutes to go, but the Golden Eagles could manage only one field goal the rest of the way as the Tigers finished the game on a 10-2 run.

Joey Dorsey added 14 points for Memphis (13-3, 3-0 Conference USA). It was the Tigers' third straight win.

Southern Mississippi (11-4, 1-1) was paced by 21 points from Craig Craft and 13 from Jeremy Wise.
