Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
MILWAUKEE, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Dominic James scored 21 points Saturday as the Marquette Golden Eagles posted an 81-63 win over the 21st-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers.
David Cubillan added 14 points and Wesley Matthews 13 for the Golden Eagles (15-4, 2-2 Big East).
Frank Young had 11 points and Jamie Smalligan 10 for the Mountaineers (13-3, 3-2), which lost both of their conference games. Notre Dame handed West Virginia its first conference loss Tuesday.
Marquette scored the first five points of the second half to take a 49-34 lead with 16:26 on the clock. The Mountaineers closed to 54-45 with 12:24 remaining, but then didn't score again for over four minutes.
