NHL: Calgary 3, Minnesota 0

CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff blocked all 26 shots on goal Tuesday for his fifth shutout of the season as the Calgary Flames blanked the Minnesota Wild, 3-0.

Kiprusoff also recorded his 100th career victory and 22nd shutout of his career. Daymond Langkow, Mark Giordano and Byron Ritchie all scored for the Flames, who have won three straight.

Niklas Backstrom allowed three goals on 25 shots for the Wild, who have dropped three consecutive games. Minnesota has also dropped 11 straight games on the road this season and has just one win in its last 15 visits to the Saddledome.
