OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington each scored 27 points Saturday night as the Indiana Pacers defeated the New Orleans Hornets, 100-93.

Jermaine O'Neal added 22 points and seven rebounds for the Pacers.

Desmond Mason led the Hornets with 28 points. Jannero Pargo added 14 points off the bench, as the Hornets suffered their fourth straight loss.

Pargo hit a lay-up with 25 seconds left and was fouled, giving him the opportunity to bring the Hornets to within three points with the free throw. He missed the free throw and 94-90 was as close as the Hornets would get, as Stephen Jackson hit six free throws down the stretch.

The Hornets trailed by only one point, 71-70, after Linton Johnson made a three-pointer in the closing seconds of the third quarter.
