Reward offered in Miami's player's slaying

MIAMI, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- A $30,000 reward is being offered for information in last month's slaying of former University of Miami basketball player Bradley Timpf.

Timpf, who played for the University of Miami in the mid-1990s, was found dead in his Cadillac after a possible botched carjacking Dec. 18 in North Miami Beach. The reward, for information leading to an arrest for that homicide, was announced at a news conference, the Miami Herald reported Friday.
