NBA: Houston 100, Utah 86

HOUSTON, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- A season-best 44 points from Tracy McGrady kept Houston rolling without Yao Ming Friday night as the Rockets defeated Utah, 100-86.

Despite the absence of Yao with a broken leg, the Rockets have won five in a row. McGrady has scored at least 30 points in the last four of those wins.
