OTTAWA, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Vyacheslav Kozlov scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to give the Atlanta Thrashers a 3-2 win Monday over the Ottawa Senators.

Kozlov out-muscled Ottawa defenseman Joe Corvo for the puck to create a breakaway and then slipped it past Ray Emery for the game-winner.

Atlanta's Ilya Kovalchuk also scored, while Marian Hossa had three assists for the Thrashers, who have won six of their last seven games. Atlanta goaltender Kari Lehtonen had 33 saves.

Daniel Alfredsson and Tom Preissing each scored for the Senators, who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end. Emery finished with 26 saves.
