COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Fredrik Norrena blocked all but one of the 22 shots he faced Sunday to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Sergei Fedorov, Manny Malhotra and Duvie Westcott all scored for the Blue Jackets.

Martin Lapointe scored the lone goal for Chicago, which has lost three games in a row. Nikolai Khabibulin made 21 saves in defeat.

Lapointe gave the Blackhawks the early lead with 4:37 remaining in the first period. But Columbus later scored three unanswered goals.
