COL BKB: Wisconsin 64, Georgia 54

ATHENS, Ga., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Alando Tucker had 29 points and eight rebounds Sunday to lead the fourth-ranked Wisconsin Badgers to a 64-54 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs.

Wisconsin (13-1) won for the ninth straight time after suffering its only loss, 66-64, Nov. 24 at Missouri State.

Takais Brown led Georgia (8-4) with 20 points and 13 rebounds. The Bulldogs lost for the third straight game after winning eight of their first nine.

Two Brown free throws pulled Georgia to within 53-51 with 2:32 remaining, but Wisconsin closed the game on an 11-3 run.
