WICHITA, Kan., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Grant Stout had 17 points and nine rebounds Saturday as Northern Iowa upset 16th-ranked Wichita State, 63-59.

Brooks McKowen added 13 points and eight rebounds for Northern Iowa (11-2, 1-0 MVC), which has won three straight. Eric Coleman had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Kyle Wilson had a game-high 18 points for Wichita State (9-3, 0-1 MVC), losers of three close games in a row by a combined 10 points.
