COLORADO SPRINGS, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Jacob Burtschi scored 21 points and Dan Nwaelele added 19 in the No. 23 Air Force Falcons' 66-52 victory over the George Washington Colonials.
The victory Thursday night in the Cable Car Classic allowed Air Force to improve to 12-1 on the season with its eighth consecutive victory. Air Force meets Santa Clara for the classic title Friday. George Washington slipped to 7-3.

The Colonials led 31-30 at halftime but Air Force opened the second period with a 10-0 run that Burtschi capped with a lay up with 15:50 to play. George Washington was not able to seriously threaten Air Force after that.
Rob Diggs paced the Colonials' attack with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
