SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- The Anaheim Ducks beat rival San Jose 4-3 Tuesday night, but may have lost starting goalie Jean-Sebastian Giguere to an injury.

The veteran Giguere suffered an unspecified injury to his leg or lower body in the second period and was on the bench for the remainder of the game between two of the best teams in the West.

Anaheim won it on a third-period goal by Chris Perry that broke a 3-3 tie and carried the high-flying Ducks to their eighth win in their past 10 games.

Travis Green scored his first goal of the season for Anaheim. Chris Kunit and Dustin Penner also tallied in the victory.

Christian Ehrhoff, Patrick Marleau and Steve Bernier all scored for the Sharks, who have dropped two of three. Evgeni Nabokov made 26 saves.
