EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- After a 7-3 first quarter deficit Sunday, New Orleans clobbered the New York Giants, 30-7.

Rookie running back Reggie Bush rushed for one touchdown on 20 carries for a career-high 126 yards; Deuce McAllister added a touchdown on 27 carries for 108 yards; Drew Brees threw for one touchdown and 132 yards; while John Carney kicked three field goals for the Saints (10-5), who have won four of their last five games.

New Orleans can claim a first-round NFC playoff bye if Philadelphia beats Dallas on Christmas Day.

Eli Manning completed just nine of his 25 pass attempts for one touchdown and 74 yards; Plaxico Burress caught his touchdown pass in the first quarter; and, in what might have been his last game at the Meadowlands, Tiki Barber gained 71 yards on 16 carries; while adding three receptions for 12 yards for the Giants (7-8), who lost for the sixth time in their last seven games.
