NBA: Chicago 115, Charlotte 76

CHICAGO, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- A 20-2 run bridging the first and second quarters Saturday helped Chicago rout the Charlotte Bobcats, 115-76.

When the spurt was over, Chicago had a 39-21 lead, which was 55-39 at halftime, and 84-58 heading into the final quarter.

Ben Gordon had 23 points and two assists; Andres Nocioni had 19 points and 11 rebounds; Thabo Sefolosha and Tyrus Thomas scored 14 points apiece; Luol Deng had 12 points and three rebounds; while Ben Wallace had 11 points and five blocked shots for the Bulls, who have won 13 of their last 15 games overall.

By the scoring margin, it was Chicago's biggest win ever against Charlotte.

Reserve Melvin Ely had 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists; while Primoz Brezec and Raymond Felton each scored 10 points for the Bulls, who were looking to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.
