OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Larry Johnson rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown Saturday night as the Kansas City Chiefs posted a 20-9 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
Trent Green completed 12-of-24 passes for 148 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Chiefs (8-7), who ended a three-game losing streak and kept their slim playoff hopes alive.
Justin Fargas rushed for 90 yards and Andrew Walter passed for 226 yards for Oakland (2-13), which has lost eight straight games in a single season for the first time in 34 years.
Walter, however, also threw two interceptions and had four turnovers.
The last time the Raiders lost eight straight in a season was in 1962 when they lost 12 in a row to end up 1-12.
Oakland has gone winless in the division for a second straight year. The Raiders' last win against an AFC West foe was on Nov. 28, 2004 at San Diego.
