COL BKB: Washington 80, Weber State 51

SEATTLE, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Powerhouse Washington came on strong in the second half to defeat Weber State, 80-51, Friday night.

Spencer Hawes had 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting to go along with nine rebounds. The Huskies (10-1) led by just eight after the first half, but outscored the Wildcats 42-21 in the final 20 minutes.

Jon Brockman ended with 18 points and 12 rebounds for Washington, which won its third straight after its only loss of the season, a 20-point loss to Gonzaga.

The Huskies avoided a letdown against the Wildcats as they were coming off an impressive 88-72 win over LSU on Wednesday.

Dan Henry and Dezmon Harris each had 13 points for the Wildcats (7-6), who had a two-game winning snapped.
