NHL: Dallas 3, San Jose 0

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Marty Turco made 20 saves in his fourth shutout of the season to help the Dallas Stars blank the San Jose Sharks, 3-0, Thursday.

Turco also recorded his 28th-career shutout, moving past Ed Belfour for the most in franchise history.

Jeff Halpern, Jussi Jokinen and Brenden Morrow all scored goals for the Stars, who have won two of their last three games.

Vesa Toskala allowed three goals on 26 shots for the Sharks, who lost for just the second time in their last six games.
