BOSTON, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Baron Davis scored the game-winning basket with 1:06 left Wednesday night as Golden State edged Boston, 96-95, to break an eight-game road losing streak.
Overall, Davis totaled 31 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Mikael Pietrus had 16 points, five rebounds and three assists; Andris Biedrins had 12 points, nine rebounds, and three steals; while Mike Dunleavy scored 10 points for the Warriors, who broke a three-game losing streak overall.
Paul Pierce totaled 27 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals; Tony Allen had 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocked shots; Ryan Gomes scored 14 points; and Al Jefferson had 13 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Celtics, who had a five-game winning streak broken.
Pierce missed a potential game-winning shot in the closing seconds.
The Warriors had a 58-48 halftime advantage.
