NHL: Tampa Bay 5, Washington 4

WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Martin St. Louis scored two goals Tuesday as the Tampa Bay Lightning ended a four-game losing streak with a 5-4 win over the Washington Capitals.

Filip Kuba and Vincent Lecavalier each had a goal and two assists for the Lightning, who won for just the second time in their last 10 games. Lecavalier's goal gave him 200 for his career.

Tampa Bay goaltender Marc Denis had 20 saves.

Alexander Ovechkin and Kris Beech each had a goal and an assist for the Capitals. Olaf Kolzig stopped 30-of-35 shots.

The Capitals were trailing by three goals in the final period.
