
NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Ladell Betts rushed for 119 yards Sunday afternoon, in his third straight 100 yards-plus game, as the Washington Redskins surprised New Orleans, 16-10.
Jason Campbell threw for one touchdown on 13-for-28 passing for 204 yards, and Shaun Suisham kicked three field goals for Washington, has split its last four games -- but was eliminated from the NFC playoff picture last Sunday.
Drew Brees did not throw a touchdown pass after completing 21 of 38 passes for 207 yards.
He threw five scoring passes against Dallas last Sunday.
Duce McAllister picked up 48 yards and scored once on 15 carries, and Marques Colston caught seven passes for 84 yards for the Saints, who nevertheless locked up the NFC South Division Sunday when Pittsburgh clobbered Carolina, 37-3.
The setback snapped the Saints' three-game winning streak.
