
RENO, Nev., Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Marcelus Kemp had 19 points and seven rebounds Saturday night as No. 21 Nevada beat Pacific, 60-53.
Nick Fazekas finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Wolf Pack (9-1), which won its second straight game. Kyle Shiloh and Ramon Sessions scored 11 points each.
Steffan Johnson led the Tigers (3-8) with 11 points. Solomon Horsechief and Anthony Brown each scored 10 for Pacific, which lost its fifth straight game.
The Wolf Pack trailed, 29-22, early in the second half but took off on an 18-2 run to build a 40-31 lead with less than 15 minutes to play. Nevada hit on 7-of-14 shots from beyond the three-point line in the second half and shot 41 percent from the floor on the night.
Pacific shot just 34 percent.
