COL BKB: Alabama 77, Soun. Miss 64

MOBILE, Ala., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Jermareo Davidson had 25 points, 11 rebounds and nine blocked shots Saturday as No. 9 Alabama posted a 77-64 win over previously-unbeaten Southern Miss.

Alonzo Gee added 20 points for Alabama (9-1).

Jeremy Wise scored 19 points for Southern Miss (7-1), which had its best start since the 1985-86 campaign.

The Crimson Tide led, 66-46, with just under five minutes left.
