EDMONTON, Alberta, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Jarret Stoll
scored the game-winner in a three-goal third period Thursday night as Edmonton topped the Minnesota Wild, 3-1.
A first-period goal by Todd White gave the Wild a 1-0 lead that held up into the third period -- before Matt Green, Stoll and Shawn Horcoff scored for the Oilers, who broke a two-game skid.
Goalie Dwayne Roloson gave up one goal on 25 shots for Edmonton, which has split its last four games.
White's goal came at 3:59 of the first period on assists by Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Nick Schultz. Manny Fernandez was beaten three times on 25 shots for the Wild, who suffered their second straight loss.
On the power play, both teams failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
