NBA: Chicago 99, Seattle 84

CHICAGO, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Ben Gordon scored 27 points Wednesday night to lead Chicago to a 99-84 rout of the Seattle SuperSonics.

Gordon also had six assists, four rebounds and three steals for the Bulls, who beat Seattle at home for the first time since Michael Jordan played for the Bulls in 1998.

Andres Nocioni had 20 points and six rebounds; Ben Wallace had 15 points and a season-high 20 rebounds; and Kirk Hinrich totaled 14 points, eight assists, four rebounds and four steals.

Chicago has won three of its last four games.

Rashard Lewis had 18 points and 13 rebounds; Damien Wilkins had 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists -- but committed eight turnovers; and Johan Petro added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Sonics, who have lost the first two contests in a five-game road trip.

Chicago had a 49-33 lead halftime lead and coasted home.

Seattle played its fourth straight game without leading scorer, Ray Allen (foot).
