NBA: Charlotte 99, Orlando 89

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Scott May scored a season-high 32 points Thursday night to lead Charlotte to a 99-89 win over the Orlando Magic.

Charlotte's power forward also had two assists and six rebounds.

Rookie Adam Morrison had 22 points and seven rebounds; Emeka Okafor had 13 points and 11 rebounds; while Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton each scored 12 points for the Bobcats, who led after three of the four quarters to snap a four-game losing streak.

Their halftime lead was 45-38.

Keyon Dooling had 20 points and three rebounds; Travis Diener had 16 points, three rebounds and three assists; Carlos Arroyo had 13 points and three rebounds; and Dwight Howard added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Magic, who have lost three games in a row.

Charlotte had a 42-38 rebounding advantage.
