
ST. JAMES, Barbados, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- South Africa, Sweden, and Argentina share the lead after one round of the World Golf Championships at St. James, Barbados.
The teams have a score of 7-under-par 64.
The team from South Africa includes Rory Sabbatini and Richard Sterne; the Argentine team consists of Andres Romero and Angel Cabrera and Sweden has Henrik Stenson and Carl Pettersson.
Germany, which has Bernhard Langer and Marcel Siem, is tied for fourth with defending champion Wales, represented by Bradley Dredge and Stephen Dodd, at 6-under 65.
The United States team of Stewart Cink and J.J. Henry; England with Luke Donald and David Howell; and South Korea with S.K. Ho and Charlie Wi, share sixth place at 5-under 66.
The tournament consists of two days of four-balls and two days of foursomes.
It has teams from 24 contries, including Ireland, Japan, Spain, Mexico, and the host nation, Barbados, which is making its first appearance.
