NHL: Boston 3, Toronto 1

BOSTON, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Brad Stuart, Wayne Primeau and Patrice Bergeron scored third-period goals Thursday night as Boston beat Toronto, 3-1.

Boston faced a 1-0 deficit after two periods. The Maple Leafs' Jeff O'Neill scored at 5:04 of the second.

Shean Donovan had two assists, and goaltender Tim Thomas allowed one goal on 24 shots for the Bruins, who have won four of their last five games.

Jean-Sebastien Aubin was beaten three times on 26 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have a six-game losing streak.

On the power play, both teams were scoreless in three opportunities with the man advantage.
